Designed for patients with COPD, neuromuscular disease, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, chest wall disorders, and central sleep apnea, this clinical-grade device delivers bilevel pressure support with an intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) that ensures breathing continues even when the patient cannot initiate a spontaneous breath. Built-in cellular connectivity, AirView remote settings, and over-the-air firmware updates keep therapy current and clinicians informed — without requiring an office visit.

Personalized Therapy Modes and Adaptive Features

Because the conditions and needs of patients receiving noninvasive ventilation naturally vary, the AirCurve 11 ST is built to adapt:

• Therapy Modes: CPAP, S (Spontaneous), and ST (Spontaneous/Timed).
• intelligent Backup Rate (iBR): Provides machine-triggered backup breaths when an apnea or lack of effort is detected, designed to maximize opportunities for spontaneous breathing.
• TiControl: Sets minimum and maximum inspiratory time limits to encourage spontaneous breathing and maximize patient-device synchrony and comfort.
• Trigger and Cycle Sensitivities: Fine-tune detection of the beginning and end of each breath using 5 trigger and 7 cycle sensitivity levels.
• Vsync: Provides patient-ventilator synchrony even in the presence of significant leak.
• Rise and Fall Time: Adjusts the time it takes for the device to reach IPAP or EPAP, improving comfort and synchrony.
• Ramp and Ramp Down: Gently eases the patient into therapy at the start and eases them back into spontaneous breathing at the end.

• AirView Remote Settings: Clinicians can review compliance data, adjust therapy parameters, and generate reports remotely — reducing the need for in-person appointments.
• Over-the-Air Firmware Updates: The device stays current with the latest ventilation features and algorithms via cellular OTA updates — no device swap required.
• Bluetooth SpO2 Oximetry: Compatibility with Bluetooth-enabled oximeters enables the flexibility to monitor SpO2 and pulse rate alongside therapy data.
• myAir App Integration: A digital patient engagement app that guides, supports, and motivates patients with personalized setup, coaching, check-ins, and progress tracking.
• Care Check-In: Enables patients to report early challenges during the first 30 days of therapy, with responses visible to care providers in AirView to support early dropout prevention.
• Visual Preview Graphs: Show clinicians how changes to IPAP, EPAP, backup rate, Ti Min, Ti Max, and trigger sensitivity will affect ventilation curves before the settings are applied.

A dedicated oxygen inlet at the rear of the device allows direct connection of supplemental oxygen up to 15 L/min, and Climate Control with HumidAir heated humidification and ClimateLineAir tubing delivers therapy at a consistent, customizable temperature and humidity.
